Three places where AI saves a sales team time

“AI changes everything” doesn't help a sales manager. What helps is looking at the process and finding three spots where a machine takes over the manual work this week.

1. Answering enquiries

A large share of sales time goes into reading incoming enquiries and drafting a first reply. AI reads the email, works out what the customer is asking, and drafts a response in the right tone with a quote — the salesperson just checks it and sends. 15 minutes becomes two.

2. Preparing quotes

When the price depends on a few parameters, a person doesn't need to assemble them by hand. A workflow takes the enquiry data, calculates the price, generates a PDF and adds a record to the CRM. The salesperson is freed from formatting and can focus on the customer.

3. Follow-up reminders

Deals fall through not on price but on silence. AI tracks which quotes have no reply and sends a polite reminder at the right moment — personalised, not robotic. No opportunity slips through.

Where to start

Pick one of the three — the one that eats the most of your team's time. One workflow, a couple of weeks, a measurable result. Once the first one works, you take the next.
